La Pharmacie Française is a health and beauty concept that started in Prague and has just opened its second location in Barcelona.
This family-run business, founded by Dr. Radka Středová and her daughter Adéla Chauville Středová, blends expertise in dermatology and pharmacy with a passion for French products and a particular fondness for Parisian pharmacies.

Our deep connection with France has inspired us for nearly 30 years. The French way of life—its joy, culture, cuisine, human connections, simplicity, and natural ease, not to mention the importance of taking time to enjoy a glass of wine—also reflects in their approach to beauty and health care. The idea of creating a space inspired by French pharmacies came about in the spring of 2020, when the family was split between Paris and Prague.
"In France, it was amazing how much empathy and willingness to help was felt in shops during such a difficult time," says Adéla Chauville Středová, who lives in Paris with her husband. “Our pharmacist, despite having fewer customers, always made time for us, offering advice with charm. The same was true in other stores, where you could chat about food, recipes, or anything else to keep your spirits up,” Adéla adds.
